Hey Product Hunt! 👋 The idea came from a real frustration. Running projects where your team works away from HQ — hotels, leased cars, remote sites — sounds straightforward until you try to calculate whether it's actually profitable. Payroll taxes vary by employee age, accommodation is VAT-rated differently than fuel, and consultants add another pricing layer on top. Most firms were doing this in sprawling spreadsheets, or not doing it at all until the invoice was already sent. NPC started as a single-page calculator to answer one question: does this project make money? From there it grew — first to handle mixed teams of employees and consultants varying month by month, then to output the exact VAT figures needed for Swedish tax declaration. The discipline of keeping it browser-based with no install and no data stored on our servers (everything runs in-memory) forced us to stay focused on what actually matters: fast, correct numbers.
