Notifit is a niche fitness app that mainly targets being able to privately track your physical progress. As an athlete myself, having reminders and being able to visualize how close I was to my goals is very important; having my data stored locally on my phone and synced through my google account instead of being saved in a database I could never access was also something that I valued. I really believe in this apps potential and have already gotten much feedback and would appreciate more.
Love that the data stays on your phone and only syncs through your own Google account, that alone makes me trust it more than most fitness apps. One thing I'd really want is the ability to add custom measurement types beyond the basics, like grip strength or jump height, so I can track everything in one place instead of bouncing between apps.
Love that you went with local storage synced through Google instead of locking data behind your own server. That level of respect for user data is rare and honestly the biggest reason I would actually trust this with my training logs.
Congrats on the launch, sounds like a solid concept with the local storage approach. One thing that would really help me is adding a way to export progress charts as images or PDFs so I can share them with my coach without handing over the whole app. Would make the private tracking setup way more useful in practice.
