Hello, my name is John and I am the main developer behind notifEye. Describing what notifEye is, is not easy, so I will start by explaining why I decided to write the app. I dislike being frequently interrupted by unnecessary notifications on my phone so I looked on Google Play for an app that would help but was unable to find any that met my needs. Having many years of coding experience in C, C++, Assembly and Java I decided to roll my own so to speak. As the app developed I found myself adding more and more features, over an year later I am now ready to share my work with the world. Imagine a world where you only get the notifications that you want and all the rest are ignored. Imagine being able to choose to have your device on silent yet still be notified when a notification that you have designated as important is received. Below is a brief summary of what problems notifEye will solve. ℹ️ Scenario 1. Your partner is near her due date and you have an important meeting that you must attend and you must have your phone on silent during the meeting. Simple create a notification alarm in notifEye so that if you receive a phone call or text or email from your partner ( and only your partner ) an alarm will sound even if the android D.N.D ( Do Not Disturb ) feature is on and you have enabled the [ Override D.N.D ] option in the notifEye settings page. ℹ️ Scenario 2. You dont want to be disturbed at night while you are sleeping so you put your phone on silent, but you want to be contactable by your kids or elderly parent. Simple create a notification alarm in notifEye so that if you receive a phone call or text or email from your kids or parent ( and only your parent or kids ) an alarm will sound even if the android D.N.D ( Do Not Disturb ) feature is on and you have enabled the [ Override D.N.D ] option in the notifEye settings page. ℹ️ Scenario 3. You want your phone on silent but you want to be notified if you get an email that you are waiting for. Again create a notification alarm for any notifications from your email app or social media app, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram etc. ℹ️ Scenario 4. You get bombarded by notifications from an app that you want to have on your phone and you dont want to disable all notifications from that app. Easily put the offending notification on a list that notifEye will remove from the status bar and ignore. No more of that annoying notification from that app, but other notifications from that app will still get through. You can also choose to ignore all notifications from the offending app if you want, or create a custom ignore item. ℹ️ Scenario 5. You have accidentally swiped away a notification that you did not read properly. No problem, just launch notifEye and all your past notifications are there for you to read at your leisure, you can even click on the buttons that were included in the original notification as if it was still on the status bar. The possibilities are endless, I am still finding new ways of using notifEye, the best way for you to learn about the app is to download and install it from Google Play or go to our website at http://www.notifeye.co.uk and read about the many other exiting features. Appart from the permission to receive notifications the only other permission requested is the vibrate permission, so you can rest assured that your privacy is protected at all times.
