Hi PH, I'm Egan, I build Noteline.
Noteline is for working directly with the Markdown files in your own folder. Open a folder, pick a note and write. Headings, checklists and tables render as you go, and tables can be edited in place. There's no account or import step, and the files can still be opened in another editor, including an Obsidian vault (it won't touch your .obsidian folder).
When you need to send a note as Word or PDF, the desktop app exports it using bundled Pandoc and Typst. Text and local images work offline.
It runs on Mac, Windows and Linux. The web editor and the iPhone/Android apps are free; they don't export to Word or PDF.
It doesn't do math, inline image previews (images still end up in the export), plugins or built-in sync. It's just a folder, so iCloud Drive, Dropbox or Git handle that.
The desktop app is free for 14 days, then $9.99 once for up to 5 devices. I set aside some free desktop licenses for PH: code PRODUCTHUNT at checkout, while they last.
