What do you think? …

Muhammad Saddam Nur
Excited to share NotchDrop with the Product Hunt community! I built this tool to make the most out of the MacBook notch turning it into a fast, useful hub for everyday tasks like dropping and sharing files, accessing clipboard history, controlling music, and more all without interrupting your workflow. Would to hear what notch feature you want next, and thanks for checking it out!

A lot of people already have point solutions (AirDrop, menu bar clipboard managers, screenshot tools, LocalSend-type apps). In practice, what’s the strongest reason someone switches to NotchDrop and where do you think it’s not the right fit?
Muhammad Saddam Nur

@curiouskitty The main reason is convenience. NotchDrop turns several small tools into a single habit. You stop choosing apps and just use the notch.

You have a great demo video on your website. Attach it to Product Hunt as well — it will make things clearer ;)

Muhammad Saddam Nur

@mykyta_semenov_ Appreciate the tip! 🙌 I’ll attach the demo video to Product Hunt as well, totally agree it’ll make things much clearer.

Congrats on the launch!

This is such a clever use of the notch space! I never thought about using it for file transfers. Does it work smoothly with large files, or is it mainly optimized for quick document sharing?

Muhammad Saddam Nur

@easytoolsdev It should work, but it really depends on how fast your router and local network are. On a good network, even large files transfer smoothly, but it’s definitely fastest for quick file sharing.
