Most alcohol apps are built for people quitting cold turkey. NoSlip is built for everyone. Log your day in two taps — sober, slip, or craving. NoSlip shows exactly what's happening in your body: 58 recovery perks unlocking as alcohol clears your system, and honest setbacks with timelines for how long they last. No streaks erased by a single slip. No lectures. Free on iPhone and Android.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Paulius, the solo dev behind NoSlip.
I built this because I wanted to cut back on drinking myself and wanted to actually understand what my body goes through when I do.
So I built NoSlip around one idea: show the real science, good and bad, based on what you actually logged — not a generic timeline.
For example — you might get hit with anxiety in the evening and have no idea why. NoSlip might tell you it's a known withdrawal effect, how common it is, and when it typically clears. That kind of context changes everything.
Would love to hear from anyone who's tried cutting back or going sober curious — what did other apps get wrong for you?

How does the app handle the 58 recovery perks timeline when someone slips mid-recovery, do those perks pause or just reset back to zero?
@bayram9ivc Sadly, it will reset for "perks". But there is another concept - "setback", which is basically a negative perk which will slowly add up recovery times in case of too many slips in a row.

How does NoSlip handle data if someone wants to share their progress with a therapist or sponsor, or is everything kept strictly on the device?
@resulboncokqfx So far it will reset positive perks, only negative will slowly pile up on intense slipping. But I am really thinking how to make this more motivating, will update app for this.

the two-tap logging for sober/slip/craving is a really thoughtful choice, it removes the friction that usually makes these apps feel like a chore rather than a tool.
@yasineryzlkk7a Thanks, app really targets to make core action as seamless as possible. Checkin should be fast.

The two-tap logging is genuinely quick, and seeing which recovery perks unlock each day kept me checking back instead of dreading it.

love that slips don't reset your progress, such a thoughtful call for people who actually live with this stuff instead of some idealized version of recovery.

@aryaaltuntokiv So far everything is strictly on device. It supports data export, but might need adjustments for analysis.
How do you decide what counts as a slip versus a full relapse, since that line feels pretty different for everyone trying to cut back?
