NORUM turns one product record—formula and ingredients—into the regulated documents food and supplement companies need: FDA Nutrition/Supplement Facts, specifications, labels, COAs and BOMs. Every value traces to its ingredient and applicable regulation. NORUM never guesses: if required data is missing, it refuses to generate. Built for brands and co-packers to manage, share and trace product documentation.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built NORUM after watching food and supplement companies keep their most important documents — the formula, the Nutrition Facts panel, the spec sheet a retailer demands — in a stack of spreadsheets and a folder of PDFs that quietly drift out of sync. When the label says one thing and the formula says another, nobody finds out until an audit, or a recall. NORUM keeps one record per product and generates the rest from it. Change the formula and the panel changes with it. Every figure traces back to the ingredient and the regulation it came from. The decision I'm proudest of is what it refuses to do. NORUM will not invent a regulated number. If it can't calculate a panel because a serving weight is missing, it tells you exactly that instead of printing something plausible — because a plausible number on a label somebody prints is worse than no number at all. It doesn't claim to certify compliance either; it does the arithmetic and shows its work, and a qualified person in your company signs off. It also does the thing contract manufacturers kept asking for: run your own brands and your customers' side by side, then share a sealed, versioned documentation package across to a lab or a co-packer — they open exactly what you sent, and nothing else. There are free tools on the site too — a Nutrition Facts generator, a Supplement Facts generator, COA and barcode makers — no account needed. Start there if you just want to see the engine work. I'd genuinely love to hear what's wrong with it. Reply here or hit the feedback line in any email — it reaches me. — Aníbal
