Hi Product Hunt! I'm Pavlina, a front-end developer.
I built NorthPeak Desk for myself first. I do recurring report work for a few clients and write to new potential clients every day, and I wanted one place that answers three questions each morning: what's due this week, how much time did it take, and who do I follow up with today.
What it does:
• Outreach: a list of people to contact, follow-up reminders, and a warning before you write to someone twice – also when you import a whole list from a CSV
• Time and reports: start a timer, see what's due and late, export a timesheet to Excel or CSV
• Calendar: month view, open a day hour by hour, drag tasks into time slots
• Ideas and strategy notes: which ways of finding clients actually work
Privacy was the main design decision: there's no server and no account. Your data stays in your browser, the app works offline, and you can download a backup and restore it on another device. The trade-off is that there's no automatic sync between devices yet.
New in 1.1 this week, thanks to feedback from Indie Hackers: password-protected backups, a preview before you restore one (so a wrong file can't wipe your data), contact import, and a weekly review of how your outreach is going.
