I'm a developer. Every content blocker I installed, I eventually defeated - browser extensions, app timers, Screen Time, Cold Turkey. I know where the off switch is on everything. The addict and the IT department being the same person doesn't work.
So I moved the block somewhere I can't reach. NoorI uses Cloudflare's Zero Trust infrastructure and packages it into a 10-minute setup.
What makes it different:
- DNS-level blocking - works in every app, every browser, even in-app browsers and cloned apps
- VPN and DNS-bypass tricks are blocked too (always my personal escape hatch)
- Settings PIN goes to someone you trust - changing rules requires a conversation, not a toggle
- Uninstalling the agent kills internet entirely, not just the filter
- Schedules - social media dies at 10pm, comes back in the morning. One decision instead of fifty daily ones
Built for three audiences that turned out to want the same thing:
Parents whose kids already bypassed Screen Time
Adults who need self-control tools that survive 1am
Muslim families wanting filtered-not-monitored internet
Free tier: 1 device, forever.
Pro: $5/mo for 10 devices + schedules.
Solo dev, building in public @amaaan_malik on Twitter. Would love brutal feedback on the product, the positioning, or anything else.
Happy to answer every question here.

Would love to see a per-device schedule so the kids' tablets can wind down at bedtime while the grown-ups still get full access. A weekly usage report pushed to email would also be a nice way to spot patterns without having to log in every day.

Setup was refreshingly simple and the network-level approach actually holds up since the kids can't just uninstall anything. Wish I'd found this sooner honestly.
