nokki turns the one song you had on repeat today into a diary entry. Pick a song from Apple Music, tap a mood, add a line if you feel like it. Thirty seconds. • Entries land on a calendar, stamped with the mood, so a month is one glance • Once a month a black cat reads your entries back to you (AI, on your own entries only) • Night Notes: a page nobody else can see, for nights you can't put into words • No public feed, no followers. Friends are mutual and invite-only Japanese only for now.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I kept not writing in journaling apps. A blank page at the end of the day is too much work. But I could always answer one question: what did I have on repeat today?
So nokki starts there. Pick the song, tap a mood, and you're done — the line you write is optional. Thirty seconds, and the day is recorded.
A few decisions I care about:
🐈⬛ Once a month a black cat writes your month back to you. It only ever reads your own entries — never your friends'.
🌙 Night Notes is a page nobody can see. Not friends, not the timeline. Some nights don't want an audience.
🤫 There is no public feed and no follower count. Friends are mutual and invite-only, so the whole app stays small and quiet.
One honest note: the app is Japanese only right now, so an English-speaking visitor will land on a Japanese UI. I'd still love your read on the idea — does "one song = one diary entry" work as a way to get people to actually keep a journal?
Solo build.
