AWSEvery other path meant either renting someone else's IoT cloud (AWS, GCP) or operating my own brokers and time-series DBs on a VPS (DO, Render). Cloudflare's primitives — Workers, Durable Objects, D1, R2 — happened to compose into exactly what an IoT backend needs, and the whole platform deploys to a user's own account with one click.
