Lab results arrive as printouts, PDFs and in portals that differ by provider β and scatter further when you switch labs or move. Node Health brings them into one place you own, your phone: scan, upload, or type in any report, and 150+ biomarkers are matched to reference ranges personalized to your age, sex and, where relevant, life stage. What's different: a doctor-reviewed biomarker database instead of AI-generated content, data encrypted on your iPhone, and core tracking that is free forever.

Node Health
Hi Product Hunt! π
I'm Ben, the founder of Node Health, and I'm excited to finally launch here!
It started with a personal frustration: every lab sends results in a different format and here in Germany even mostly on paper. One sends a printout, another a PDF, another locks them in a portal. Change providers, or move to another city or country, and your health history is suddenly scattered across systems that don't talk to each other. We wanted one place where all of our results live, that you fully own, no matter where the blood was drawn.
So we built Node Health:
π Any report, any provider β scan with your camera, upload a PDF, paste raw text, or enter values manually. We extract the values in a standardised unit for easy comparison and drawing of trends (via a Chart).
π― Tailored to your biology β reference ranges personalized to your age, sex and, where relevant, life stage, from a doctor-reviewed database. If your report includes the lab's own reference ranges, we extract those automatically too, so you can compare them side by side.
π Trends over time β one blood test is a snapshot; years of them is a story. We also allow storage of all your medical documents in one place, encrypted and if wanted synced to your iCloud.
π Context for every marker β what each biomarker means (deficient, normal, optimal, elevated or even critical) and what helps keep it in range, in plain language.
π Data is fully yours β encrypted on your iPhone, optional sync to your own iCloud, export everything anytime.
On pricing: the core features are free and will always remain free. You will always be able to manually add, access, and export your results β ownership of your own health data shouldn't sit behind a paywall. We only charge for the AI-powered features such as the AI upload and specialized features such as customizing reference ranges.
The app is available on iOS in English and German, with more languages coming soon and an iPad version in the works β and we have a lot of exciting features on the roadmap that we can't wait to ship. We have started adding Apple health metrics, with more to come here, such as goals, connecting urine, blood and even body metrics to see how they are all intertwined.
π To celebrate the launch, we're giving the Product Hunt community 40% off the yearly Node Health Plus plan. Use the code PRODUCTHUNT, valid through July.

We'd love to hear your feedback, how you manage your health data and if there is anything you would like to see in the app. We read and answer every single message. Thank you!
Refocus
The personalized reference ranges by age and life stage is the smart part, since a value that reads fine at 40 can be a flag at 75. I work on voice AI that checks in on aging parents, and the recurring pain their adult kids describe is exactly this: a parent's results scattered across three providers plus a shoebox of printouts. Is there a way for an adult child to co-manage a parent's Node Health record, and how well does the scan handle a stack of older paper labs from before everything went digital?
Node Health
@igorgurovichVery valid use-case and yes, the ranges aren't just automatically personalized, you can also fine-tune each biomarker range individually to your needs.
What you're describing would be handled best with multiple profiles. We don't cover that yet, but it's already on our roadmap. Once that is setup, you'd be able to create a profile for your parent and input their age, gender, medications and any other relevant data, so their ranges adjust accordingly.
On the stack of older papers: that's an area we've invested heavily in. Node Health uses a mix of on-device OCR and AI to pull biomarkers out of uploaded documents regardless of format, so even older printouts usually get a high-quality extraction.
The "every lab sends a different format" pain is very real, half of my results are photos of printouts. Does the camera scan handle handwritten values on older reports, or is that manual entry? Congrats on the launch
Node Health
@alex_tomilinΒ Yes, that is exactly why we standardize all imported values so they can be compared across labs. It should handle handwritten values, but it depends of course on the handwriting, the quality of the image, lighting etc. The only way to truly know is to try it out ;) Node Health uses a mix of methods to read the uploaded file, starting with Apple's VisionKit.
Node Health
@sonal_waghchoureΒ Thanks! Right now Node Health is built for individual users, you upload your own results and the app handles the rest. It's not currently a tool for professionals or labs to work with.
We would love to go further though: a direct connection to doctors, labs or even hospitals so results get uploaded automatically or data pulled with your permission is exactly where we'd like to head. Germany's strict health-data rules (our home market) just make that further off than we'd like.
Were you thinking more from a patient's side as in sharing it with your healthcare provider, or from using it within lab/clinic? Curious what sparked the question.
