Hello everyone,
I've been traveling regularly since 2006 and have gained some knowledge about local tricks. In some places, I've been involved with local communities and noticed that each place not only has its own tricks but also schemes to deceive outsiders.
That's why I built No Scam a tool not only to help myself but also to assist other people who are traveling around.
Love the location-specific angle, that’s really powerful. Have you considered using geo signals to trigger proactive guidance, like landing in a new country and getting scam warnings relevant to that region? Curious if you see the product evolving from reactive info to more real-time prevention.
The idea is really great, I haven't checked the product yet, but is there a chance for other people to add something to the list? Btw, maybe you can scrape Reddit for such stories and add them to your product

@anastasiia_stepko it actually has some info from Reddit but would be cool to have it a way to ugc from ppl’s experiences. I think it’s valuable when ppl share experiences and help each other stay safe. Thank you for your comment!

@crebuh Hey Christofer, how are you? Since I always keep an eye in not be fooled while traveling (and hate when it happens).
I noticed most scams are a variation of the original, some stuffs change from place to place, cuz it’s the way it is.
I have noticed ppl asking for a way to add their own experiences which’s pretty valuable let the community contribute.
Answering your question straight forward.. It’s a small part of my travel app. Which has more cool feats like you historical/fun/curious facts to all the cities in the website cuz not always we have a tourist guide, curated list of places to visit/eat, recommendations from other travelers, maybe following your idea let ppl also contribute in this subject. Also the list comes from the app.

Maybe a next launch with it, right on my travel app, and it be seen on website can be a useful thing!
