While working on the ground in hotel operations and inventory management in Goa, I kept running into a massive structural broken link in luxury hospitality:

For Luxury Hotels, Palaces & Boutique Resorts: Properties frequently sit on unbooked room blocks, shoulder-season dates, and full wedding buyout capacity. However, they cannot discount these rooms on public retail OTAs (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda) without destroying their luxury brand positioning or violating strict retail rate parity agreements.
For Travel Advisers, MICE Planners & Wedding Planners: Independent agents and planners either lose 15%–25% of their margin to retail OTA commissions, or spend days chasing hotel sales managers over fragmented WhatsApp threads and spreadsheets just to get a net wholesale quote or buyout contract.
