Upload one photo, pick a style (Renaissance, Baroque, Belle Époque, watercolor) and get a museum-grade oil portrait in about a minute. The face stays unmistakably yours. You see it before paying, and you can print it on gallery canvas, delivered ready to hang.
Hi Product Hunt, Lien here, maker of Ninth Salon.
This started as a gift. I turned a photo of our daughter into a Renaissance portrait for my husband, and his reaction taught me more about what people want than a year of analytics on my previous app (an AI art-identification app I sold this summer). Identification is curiosity. A portrait of someone you love is a gift, and gifts have budgets.
So I built the opposite product in three weeks, solo, at night, with a full-time job.
How it works: upload one photo, choose a style (Renaissance, Dutch Golden Age, Baroque, Belle Époque, watercolor, a few more), and about a minute later your portrait appears. The face stays yours; that fidelity is the whole point. You see the finished portrait before paying anything. If you love it, you download it in HD, or order it printed on gallery canvas, delivered ready to hang in 5 to 7 days. Works on dogs too, embarrassingly well.
A few deliberate choices I would love your take on:
- Web only, no app, no subscription. Credits you buy once.
- No pixel, no cookie banner: our own first-touch attribution instead.
- No prices on the hero. You see the result first. Reddit told me I was wrong about this one, so I added a "you see it before you pay" line and a pricing link. Still no prices above the fold. Curious what PH thinks.
Three languages (EN/FR/ES), built in France, portraits in about a minute. I will be here all day answering everything, including the questions about margins and the AI model.
Thank you for looking.
