Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Shail, the maker of NinniTales.
This product started with my daughter.
She's now six, but ever since she was three, bedtime always ended the same way: "One more story, Daddy."
My wife and I both work full-time, and honestly, there were days when we were exhausted. We loved reading to her, but coming up with new stories every single night wasn't easy. What surprised us was that she wasn't asking for new stories because they were exciting, she wanted to hear our voices. Hearing us made her feel calm and safe.
That realization became the idea behind Ninni Tales.
I wanted to create bedtime stories in my own voice, so even if I was working late, traveling, or simply too tired, she could still fall asleep listening to me. Today, she does exactly that.
Initially I curated stories by my own and now moving towards verified story writers, not a single story is written by AI
My lil one bedtime is no longer a daily struggle for us.
One thing I obsessed over was the voice quality. If it didn't genuinely feel like her dad, the whole idea would fall apart. I spent countless hours tweaking it and even used my daughter as the toughest reviewer. 😄 If she felt it was me, I knew I was getting somewhere.
I also wanted to avoid screen time. So with NinniTales, kids don't need to watch anything, you simply press play, they listen, and drift off to sleep.
