I go backcountry skiing a lot, so I wanted the fastest way to know if the skiing conditions were good at specific coordinate points in the mountains. Most people who participate in mountain sports use a website called spotwx.com SpotWx is awesome because it gives you the raw data from all the biggest numeric weather models (numeric models are the weather simulation computers that all of our forecasts come from). I wanted the power of SpotWx, but in a more convenient and personalized UX. So I made NimbusWx. NimbusWx combines SpotWx with OpenAI to give you incredibly personal weather forecasts in a fun and easy to interpret way. If you're a skier like me, you can tell Nimbus to "tell me about the skiing conditions". Or if you're into kite surfing you can say "Tell me how windy it's going to be". You can get accurate results but with a more fun personality by saying things like "You are a Colorado ski bro, tell me about the ski conditions." Or of course, if you aren't into outdoor sports but just want your weather to be more interesting you can say "You are a rapper, everything you say should rhyme" and Nimbus will rap the forecast for you.
