Tell us your cities, dates, passport and style. Nihao Plan builds a 30–50 page printable guide: entry rules for your passport, Alipay set-up, trains, a day-by-day plan with a Plan B, maps, and Chinese cards for drivers and waiters. 7 languages.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Ethan Carter, the maker of Nihao Plan.
I built Nihao Plan after realizing that visiting China can be surprisingly complicated for first-time travelers. Even with visa-free entry becoming easier, the everyday things that make a trip work smoothly, like paying, navigating, ordering food, and getting around, can still feel overwhelming when you're coming from abroad.
I wanted to make that first trip easier, so travelers can spend less time figuring things out and more time enjoying China.
China has opened up a lot: many passports can now visit visa-free for up to 30 days, and 240-hour transit covers many more. But a first trip is still hard to plan from abroad. Google Maps doesn't work well, you pay by QR code, taxi drivers need the address in Chinese, and popular sights sell out days ahead.
Nihao Plan turns a two-minute form into a printable guide written for your trip:
• Entry rules for your passport and dates
• Alipay / WeChat Pay set-up, getting online, and what to book ahead
• A day-by-day plan with walking times, metro exits and a nearby Plan B
• Maps for every city, and trains between cities
• Show-the-driver address cards, dishes to point at, and useful phrases
• English, 한국어, 日本語, Русский, Deutsch, Français or Español
How we keep it honest: the AI only picks places from our own city database (located on OpenStreetMap). Prices, hours and addresses are printed from the database, not written by the model, and anything uncertain is marked "check before you go". When you order, we also look up the weather forecast and official notices for your dates, with sources.
After delivery you can ask the AI assistant follow-up questions (it searches the web when it needs to). When you've booked flights and hotels, tell it in the chat and it updates your guide.
20 cities to start, from Beijing and Shanghai to Guilin and Zhangjiajie. One payment per trip: $19 / $29 / $39 by length, no subscription.
The gallery shows pages from a demo guide (Beijing + Shanghai, 7 days). There's a sample you can flip through at nihaoplan.com/sample.
I'd love your feedback, especially if you've travelled in China or are planning to. What would you want in your guide?
