A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to see Jason Segel at a book tour stop to promote his 2nd book in the triology (https://www.producthunt.com/book...). He writes these books for all the weird kids out there who think they are alone in their thoughts, much like he was in his younger days. He treats kids much like Pixar does - people who are able to handle complex emotions just as much as any adult. The basis for this book is to oppose the classic kids book, which says to not be afraid. According to Segel, it's okay to be scared, but recognize that you can persevere through that feeling to do something incredible you've never done before. Great message for kids, and the book is equally enjoyed by adults.
