Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m super excited to launch Niceshot today! 🎉
Why I built this
As a developer, I often share screenshots of projects, UIs, and demos online. But making them look good for social media was always a pain, opening Figma or Photoshop just for a clean background and some text felt like overkill.
I wanted a quick, no-design-skill-required tool that could make any screenshot look beautiful in seconds. That’s how Niceshot was born.
What makes Niceshot different?
✅ Instant design polish, No need for heavy tools, just upload and style
✅ 50+ stunning backgrounds (Mac, nature, patterns, abstract)
✅ Gradient support for creative touches
✅ Custom text with fonts, colors & shadows
✅ Image opacity control for that soft aesthetic
✅ Before & After comparison slider
✅ One-click export, ready for social media

Making screenshots stand out is so underrated. Can I add text or annotations to them?

This is exactly the kind of lightweight tool that creators adore simple, speedy and to the point. Is there a bulk upload feature so I can style multiple screenshots at once?
I’m glad you find Niceshot simple and speedy, that’s exactly what I was aiming for.
Currently, there’s no bulk upload feature, but that’s a great suggestion! I’ve already noted it down and will explore how to implement it in an upcoming update.
Would you prefer:
Uploading multiple screenshots at once and styling them individually? or
Applying the same style to all in one go?
Your input would help me design it the right way.
Thanks again for the feedback! 💡

Brilliant concept. Does the compression or rendering process impact text sharpness in screenshots especially for images heavy on UI elements?
The rendering process in Niceshot is optimized to maintain text and UI sharpness, so there’s no noticeable loss in quality. Screenshots with detailed UI elements remain crisp, and exported images are high-resolution.
If you ever spot any quality issues, let me know. I’d love to investigate and improve further.

@lucas_parsons
Absolutely! You can add text to your images in Niceshot. We recently introduced this feature, and it comes with:
Different font styles
Custom text colors
Drop shadows for extra flair
Perfect for adding context or captions to your visuals.
This is perfect for marketers and creators. Can I export in high resolution for print purposes as well?
@camden_granger
Yes! Niceshot exports your images in high resolution.
What a clean idea I absolutely love it. Are there templates available for different social media platforms?
