the privacy-first angle is honestly what sold me here, especially with everything staying on device. one thing i keep wishing for though is a way to quickly pin a speaker's name to a voice so it auto-labels them next time they show up in a meeting. right now i'd have to remember who said what later
Tried it on my iPad and the on-device transcription caught names and acronyms way better than I expected. The diff approval for AI edits is the right call, I never trust a bot rewriting my meeting notes without checking.
One thing that would make Nib even more useful for me is the ability to tag meeting attendees and have the AI auto-attribute to-dos and quotes to specific people throughout the generated minutes. Right now I have to manually fix ownership after every session, and it adds friction to an otherwise smooth flow.
The on-device transcription with audio that never leaves the phone is a really thoughtful choice, especially for journalists and lawyers who need that kind of privacy guarantee.
