Wanted to share my latest creation with the world! It's a custom productivity tool I created and have been personally using for years. As a programmer, I had always found myself spending way too much time stressing about time, which created a vicious anxiety cycle. Staring at the clock and worrying about deadlines so much made me think there has to be a better way. It turns out that our division of time into units of 60 seconds, 60 minutes, and 24 hours can be transformed. I noticed patterns within the code years ago and created a personal clock for myself that worked more as a percentage meter. I had found it much easier to try and accomplish a set amount of tasks within a day by monitoring by percentage of the day rather than the time. Realizing that by noon 50% of the day is already completed, gave me a much better handle on properly organizing my thoughts in a productive manner. This small trick worked wonders on in getting my mind to stop thinking about time so much, and focus on on the task at hand. NewClock allows any type of clock to be created, the three default settings are free to try out. It is currently released on the iOS App Store.
