This is a really great idea! When I'm shopping it always crosses my mind to consider how sustainable my purchase decisions are but I never know how to figure it out. Neutral is going to help me make more informed votes with my dollar!

Hey! So I am probably going to launch a shopping assistant and would love your idea to be incorporated,my questions are 1) will it be contradicting to help people shop by showing them various options and on other hand keeping them updated about CO2 footprint 2) how to efficiently calculate a user CO2 footprint, is there any way we can get C02 produced by each item

great work! I'm frankly coming around on this idea, being against it to realizing indirect benefits can actually make a large impact. One minor concern and question: Lot of times kilometers driven are shown to make sense of the footprint. Do you think this might make people think driving is not actually that bad. Hypothetical small product costs same as that long drive, let me just drive from my suburban home everyday. Maybe I'm taking it too far, but would be helpful to know your thoughts. And question would be how do you account for car emissions for this comparison. I've often noticed these calcs don't account for real-world fuel economies of cars or don't update methodology as EPA publishes better values. So please do share if you're considering to improve on that... thanks, best luck, and looking forward to how this product evolves.
