YouTube's algorithm is built for watch time, not your goals. Most blockers fight that with blunt keyword/channel blocks -- fine for ads, useless when YouTube is also where you learn. NeuroFilterAI uses on-device, semantic AI to score videos against topics you set to favor or avoid, so what matters stays visible and noise fades out. Focus Mode hides Shorts, autoplay, comments, and sidebar recs. Built for students, devs and researchers who want YouTube to serve their goals, not the algorithm's.

Hey Product Hunt š
I'm Piyush, the maker of NeuroFilterAI.
When i Was preparing for world's third toughest exam, JEE, I kept opening YouTube for one specific thing ā a lecture, a coding tutorial ā and losing the next hour to recommendations I never asked for. Existing blockers were too blunt for me: I needed YouTube on, just filtered by what I actually came for.
What it does:
šÆ Scores every video semantically against topics you set to favor or avoid ā no exact keyword matching required
š§ Focus Mode hides Shorts, autoplay, comments, and sidebar recs
š Core AI scoring runs on-device ā your interests and behavior aren't shipped to a server to decide what you see
Who it's for: students prepping for exams, developers staying in technical content, researchers, and anyone who wants YouTube to work for their goals instead of the algorithm's.
This is still early ā I'm a solo maker actively building based on feedback. If you try it, I'd genuinely love to hear what's missing, what's confusing, or what would make this a daily habit for you. I'll be in the comments all day ā feedback over upvotes, always.
