Netaro puts everything you own on one live balance sheet: stocks, ETFs, crypto, cash, property, pensions, private equity, debt and valuables, in any currency. What is different: it never links to a bank or broker. No Open Banking, no scraping, no ad tracking. Property counts as value minus mortgage, and accounts understand ISAs, SIPPs, 401(k)s, TFSAs and more. Free with unlimited holdings. Pro adds Portfolio Health, wealth benchmarks, a Weekly Digest and an AI that knows your portfolio.
I hated tracking my net worth in a spreadsheet. I tried a handful of apps, but none of them felt right to use, and I'm picky about design. I wanted it in my pocket, not in a file on my laptop. And somewhere along the way I'd started bouncing between Excel and an AI assistant just to make sense of my own numbers, which in the world of claude and codex, I admittedly enjoyed.
So I built the thing I wanted, with all of it in one place. You add what you own: stocks, crypto, cash, ISAs, pensions, the house minus the mortgage. Netaro prices the market stuff every day, in whatever currency you think in, and keeps the history. It doesn't link to your bank, and everything lives on your phone, with optional backup to a free account. The AI assistant I kept switching to is built in now, and it already knows your portfolio.
The catch (or at least for some people) is that it's manual. Your house and your pension won't update themselves, so you'll check in on those every so often. I think that's worth it to avoid handing over logins, but I know it won't suit everyone. (Pro can read a broker CSV, which makes the first setup a lot quicker.)
Tracking is free, with no limit on holdings. Pro is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year and adds the AI, the health score, wealth benchmarks and a weekly digest. The AI never sees who you are, just the portfolio with any sensitive PII stripped.
It's early days, so two questions I'd love answered:
What made you give up on the last finance app you tried?
What would it take for you to trust an app with your whole net worth?
