Hi Product Hunt! I'm Tolga, the maker of Nerola.
I built Nerola around a simple idea: speaking practice should leave you with something you can use in your next conversationānot just a chat transcript.
The learning loop is:
ā¢ Learn a useful sentence pattern.
ā¢ Practise it with an AI conversation partner.
ā¢ Understand a correction to your own answer.
ā¢ Say the corrected sentence out loud and revisit it later.
Nerola includes 92 guided lessons and role-plays for everyday life, work, travel and interviews. Explanations are available in eight languages.
Beyond speaking practice, the Activities tab includes word games, sentence-building exercises, narrated stories and a dictionary. You can also play word games with friends and join the weekly leagueāgiving you different ways to practise between conversations.
Version 4.4 adds a guided introduction, hints when you're stuck, listening and slow playback under each partner reply, and optional practice reminders.
It's available on iPhone and free to try, with a subscription for continued voice practice. The partners are AI characters, and corrections can sometimes be wrong.
