Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built NerdCycle because most period/fertility trackers I looked at either buried you in ads, pushed a subscription before you could even try the core features, or shipped your health data off to servers you'll never see. That felt wrong for something this personal.
NerdCycle keeps everything on-device — your cycle data lives on your iPhone and syncs only through your own iCloud, nothing goes through my servers. I also wanted couples to be able to share what's going on without turning it into a whole ordeal, so there's a simple way to keep a partner in the loop if you want that.
It started as a much simpler tracker, but the more I used it myself and talked to people testing it, the more the "share with partner" piece became the actual heart of the app rather than a bolt-on feature.
Built solo, native Swift/HealthKit, no backend collecting your data. Would love to hear what you think — especially if you've been burned by trackers that felt more interested in your data than your cycle.

Local-only storage on iCloud is a really thoughtful touch, makes sharing cycle info feel way less awkward. Sync between me and my partner worked instantly, which was a nice surprise.

@turan9h8e Really happy to hear the sync just worked without any setup friction — that was one of the trickier parts to get right with CloudKit, so good to know it holds up in practice.

Love that the data lives only on your own iPhone and iCloud instead of getting fed into some company's servers. That kind of respect for privacy is rare, and the design feels calm and intentional rather than cluttered like most cycle trackers I’ve tried.

@cerenijug Thank you! Calm and uncluttered was very much the intent — didn't want this to feel like another dashboard-heavy health app. Appreciate you noticing that.

Loved that I could nudge my partner when my fertile window hits without sending a screenshot. The whole thing feels private since nothing leaves your phone.

@zmratasgldubs Exactly the goal — no more sending screenshots or explaining things over text. Glad the nudge feature landed the way I hoped it would!
