Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ariana, and I built NeatDrive on my own.
The idea came from running Google Workspace as a Director of Business Operations. Drive is the tool everyone uses and nobody manages: files go public by accident, old contractors keep access, and nobody wants to touch any of it because touching it feels dangerous.
So NeatDrive is an exposure audit first. The scan is read-only and reads metadata — names, sizes, dates, owners, sharing — and gives you real counts and a Drive Health Score. See everything before changing anything.
The line between free and paid is read versus write, and nothing else. Free = Scan & Discover · Paid = Fix & Automate. The whole audit is free (4 audits a month on the free plan). Acting on it — revoking a link, renaming, archiving — is what you pay for, and every action is previewed and approved before it runs.
Two things I'd rather you hear from me than discover later. A scan never opens your files, but two optional features do: AI naming, and an on-demand content-based duplicate check. Both are off by default, both need separate write permission, and both run per file. Ordinary duplicate detection uses the MD5 Google already stores as metadata, so it opens nothing.
