I was frustrated that so many apps have become subscription-based. They are increasingly complex, slowing user flow and wasting time. I decided to build a suite of apps that load instantly and work offline, with no accounts, subscriptions, or annoying ads. The first app is Neat Calorie, a Progressive Web App (PWA) designed for fast, private calorie tracking. The food data is curated by hand from USDA sources and stored locally, allowing for instant search and quick logging. You can record your meals and get on with your day without the usual hassle.
