Nearby Glasses is a tiny open-source Android app that notifies you when smart glasses are nearby.
Technically speaking, the app constantly scans Bluetooth LE advertising frames for specific manufacturer IDs. If it catches a signal hitting a certain RSSI threshold, it pushes a silent alert to your Android phone.
The maker Yves Jeanrenaud built it because of reports that big companies are pushing facial recognition straight into these things by default. The whole point is simple awareness so you can act accordingly.
