What's great

It gives you the speed of a drag-and-drop builder without the limits. You get simple visual workflows, the ability to write custom code whenever you need it, and built-in AI tools—all at a fraction of the cost of competitors.

What needs improvement

The visual canvas is optimized for desktop browsers, making quick fixes or monitoring from a phone or tablet challenging.

vs Alternatives

We chose n8n for privacy, lower costs, and flexibility. Self-hosting keeps our data secure, execution-based pricing saves us money as we grow, and the code nodes mean we never get stuck on complex tasks.
