Anthropic released Mythos in April but kept it private — restricting access to a small set of entities globally. MythosWatch tracks every publicly disclosed access signal — confirmed, reported, negotiating, blocked — with primary sources cited on each entry. Auto-updating. Built for journalists, researchers, and anyone watching a centralized repo & access map shift in real time.

Hii, quick context for anyone landing here:
Anthropic released Mythos on April 7 — their most capable model — but didn't release it publicly, citing offensive cyber capabilities they considered too dangerous. Access went to ~52 organizations under "Project Glasswing." 12 were named at launch. The other 40+ remained unnamed.
The story moved fast from there. Bloomberg reported unauthorized users got in via a Discord channel. Axios reported the NSA had access while CISA — the nation's top cyber defense agency — did not. The Pentagon legally barred Anthropic as a supply-chain risk. Bundesbank's president called for universal access. Morgan Stanley's CEO confirmed access on an earnings call. The ECB and Bank of England convened emergency cyber briefings. China is fully blocked.
I started reading these stories scattered across Axios, Reuters, Euronews, Bloomberg, and the Korean press, and wanted one place that pulled them together. So I built one. Every entry on the site links to a primary source. Updates a few times a day.
Happy to answer anything. If you've spotted a source I've missed, drop it in a comment and I'll review. P.S. Working on making the website data open source as well (stay tuned by following the X account or joining the email list!)
