Hey everyone, thank you for checking out the MyPost product. This was my first release of a web app. The idea was to be able to get posts up on the Internet quickly, while also allowing me the freedom to actually write some HTML code as well.
Things I have used it for:
- client notes
- client communications
- notes to myself
- quick blog posts
- opinion posts
- brainstorming ideas for new web apps and websites
And the list goes on and on.
I have noticed companies using it to write blog posts that advertise themselves. MyPost posts are discoverable if you share the link with people or make it discoverable by selecting "Display on MyPost" in the options.
Some people are taking advantage of the custom CSS feature and really going artsy with MyPost.
My whole reason for creating it, really, was to bring back the understanding and knowledge of coding again. I feel that with social media, anyone can hop on the Internet and begin using it, and that is great. But.... the foundations for what built the Internet may have been forgotten, and while people can use it without knowing any code at all, there is still the option to create a post with code.
