Hi everyone, we're Cover Two and the maker of MyMediaCast. We built this out of a simple frustration: casting to your TV has turned into a maze of walled gardens & most apps that promise to "cast" to other devices either bury their app in ads or hide the useful parts behind a subscription. We just wanted to throw a photo, a video, or a playlist onto whatever TV happened to be in the room and have it work without thinking about which brand it was. So that's what MyMediaCast does. Pick your photos and videos on your phone or desktop, choose a device, and it streams straight to Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Google TV, or Apple TV. No ads. No paywalls. No incompatibilities. If your file doesn't play natively with whatever device your casting to, MyMediaCast will automatically covert it to something that will. For Google TV/Android TV/Chromecast devices, the app works natively with those and should work with whatever device you're casting from. For Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku devices, you'll need to download a separate MyMediaCast app on your streaming device and have it open on your screen. For other Smart TVs and devices that support DLNA, the app should work out of the box as well, however, support can vary on those devices (and we'd genuinely love your feedback on what's working/what isn't on them!) It's available on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows & Linux and we're actively continuing to improve it however possible.
