Most of them either clutter your screen with aggressive banner ads, lock basic functionality behind monthly subscription paywalls, or make data tracking overly complicated. I wanted a clean, straightforward alternative that respects the user. How did your approach or process evolve? As I built and refined myfin to be 100% free with zero ads, I realized that financial tracking tools often leave certain groups behind—especially older family members who find modern UI overwhelming. That’s why I recently expanded the app to include a dedicated Senior Mode, featuring larger typography and a streamlined layout.
