My Dock Buddies: Little 3D companions for the top of your Mac's Dock

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Akash, and this is my first launch here. The Dock is the one part of my Mac I look at a hundred times a day, and I wanted something small and alive down there. Not another widget or notification, just a bit of company while I work. So I made My Dock Buddies. Max (the builder) and Avery (the thinker) are little 3D characters who live on top of your Dock. They walk around, sit at a tiny desk, carry boxes, react and nap. Click one side of a buddy and they run that way. Click the middle and they stop, think and look up at you. Press and drag to move them along the Dock, or tell them to stay in their spot on the left or right. It works with a hidden Dock and a side Dock too. How it came together: every buddy starts as finished character art, then I build it in 3D and give it its own animations, props and moods. The Mac app is native, lives in the menu bar, and is signed, notarized and updates itself. Pricing, honestly: there's no free tier. The Mac app needs a plan ($5.99 a month, $69 a year or $200 once), and each buddy is $49.50 at the launch price until 13 October, then $99. A lot of hand work goes into each character, and I'd rather charge fairly than add ads or tracking. There are none. Next: Juno and Aadi are in the works, and Dumpling Dock, a small stress-buster, is coming in the next few weeks.
