Short answer: it puts a tiny animated character of your partner on your browser, and they see yours on theirs.
You pair with an invite code, and a wave, hug, kiss or mood plays on the other screen.
What it shares: only your online status and what you send. It never reads which sites you visit, your tabs, or what's on the page. The site permission is optional and only lets the character appear on pages.
Do not disturb hides it and silences everything until a time you choose, and your partner sees "busy until 3:00 PM".

Hi Product Hunt 👋
We made My Cutie for the small moments in a busy day: you're working, they're working, and you'd like them to know you're thinking of them without breaking their focus.
What it is: a Chrome extension that puts a tiny character on your pages. Each of you has one, and you pair with an invite code. When your partner sends a wave, a hug, a kiss or a mood, their character plays it on your screen, and yours does the same on theirs. Click the character on any page to send something back or type a short message.
Why it's different from texting:
• It's a small, quiet gesture, not another notification demanding a reply.
• You see when they're online, away or offline.
• Do not disturb makes you look busy until a time you choose, and they see "busy until 3:00 PM".
• You can draw yourself from a single photo. The photo is deleted right after, and Mira and Kai are there if you'd rather skip that.
Privacy, in plain words: only your online status and the things you send are shared. Never what you browse, which sites you visit or your tabs. The site permission is optional and only lets the character appear on pages.
Pricing: free to try for the first day. After that, waves stay free, and a one-time $7.99 per couple unlocks everything else. No subscription.
We'd love your feedback, especially on which other gestures you'd want. We're here all day to answer questions.
