We are a non-profit technology developer that provides data-driven solutions to improve water and health around the world. Many countries lack early warning systems for flooding, even though open access global satellite-based flood predictions are available for the entire world from the EU Joint Research Centre. Horizon was designed to fill this gap by localizing a global flood model to a detailed map of flood plains around the world. You can save locations that you care about monitoring, and the app will give you notifications when the forecast predicts flooding or heavy rainfall. We handle all the data processing using our mWater data platform, which is used by 400,000 users
