@eriktorenberg the language in the TC article speaks to a crowdsourced connection between bands/writers and potential producers. not a massive addressable mkt - yet if accurate that is quite different than bop.fm - calgary canada based according to linkedin.
@eriktorenberg It seems like their discovery feature serves an extra purpose: they connect most popular ones with producers.

It all began with our intention to solve a rather large industry problem...how can we use data to help the music industry make/take better bets on the "next big thing"? Over time we’ve realized that pairing up and coming artists with industry experts that can effectively help make their music better is also of huge value.
