Music Remote Control turns your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch into a remote for Apple Music on your Mac Control playback, browse your Mac’s music library, playlists, and stations, search for songs outside your library, manage AirPlay speakers and volume, and favorite or suggest less for songs and more... It also adds a compact mini player and menu bar player on Mac, plus widgets and Live Activities on iOS for quick access to your music without interrupting what you're doing
Hey Product Hunt!
I built Music Remote Control because I wanted an easy way to control Apple Music on my Mac without having to switch back to the Music app every time
What started as a simple remote grew into an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch companion that can control playback, browse your Mac’s library, playlists and stations, search for music, manage AirPlay speakers, and more
I also wanted Apple Music on Mac to take up less space while I’m working, so I added a compact mini player and menu bar player, along with widgets and Live Activities on iPhone
The apps connect directly over your local network, with automatic discovery and reconnection, so there’s very little setup required
I’m an indie developer and built this myself, so I’d really appreciate any feedback! If there’s something you wish Apple Music on Mac could do, I’d love to hear it!
