I pulled all of it into one page and shaped each piece around him specifically, not "musicians" in the abstract: ⏱️ Metronome — 20–300 BPM, tap tempo, 8 time signatures, subdivisions, classic tempo presets 🔥 Timer & Sessions — a practice timer plus an elapsed clock that keeps running even when he pauses, and a streak counter to make daily practice feel like a game 🪞 Practice Mirror — webcam posture check, with an experimental cheek-puff detector for brass/wind embouchure 📝 Practice Notes — his teacher's notes for the week pop up before every session, and back up as plain Markdown 🎨 25 themes — Bluey, Totoro, Pikachu, Batman, Yoda and more, because he should get to practice next to his favorite character No accounts, no ads, no cost. Notes stay on his device, the camera feed never leaves it. The fun part of building this: the feedback loop is instant. A few weeks ago he asked "can you add nine-eight?" — a time signature his teacher assigned that the app didn't have. Five minutes later it was live and he was back to practicing.
