Description MUNDIAL·26 is an unofficial data theater for the 2026 World Cup — every number is real. We harvested FIFA stadium-tracking data for all 104 matches, 1,000+ players, and 48 teams, then built a site that actually lets you see the tournament: formations on the pitch, xG shot maps with goal-mouth placement, heatmaps, sprint speeds, player cards where every stat is a tournament percentile. No hot takes. No punditry. Just the receipts.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built MUNDIAL·26 because the World Cup ends and the numbers disappear behind highlight reels and takes.
This tournament had 48 teams, 104 matches, and a mountain of tracking data — xG, press phases, sprint speeds, heatmaps, ratings. FIFA publishes a lot of it. Almost none of it is explorable in one place, in a way that’s actually fun.
So I made a data theater:
Harvested the full dataset (FIFA + 365scores) after the final
Built visual layers on top — match theaters, percentile player cards, territory maps, ML style archetypes
Exposed it as an MCP server so you can chat with the entire tournament from your own Claude — charts, shot maps, and a rematch simulator included
My favorite rabbit holes so far:
“Who would have won France vs Argentina?” (the rematch machine)
The fortune table — teams that deserved more points from their xG
Finding statistical twins in The tribes
It’s a passion project, not a startup. No accounts, no paywall. The MCP connector is free — your AI subscription does the thinking.
Would love to know:
Which match you’d open first
What hypothetical rematch you’d run
Whether MCP + sports data is something you’d actually use
Thanks for checking it out. ⚽

Love the focus on pure data without the pundit noise. One thing that would make this even better is a side-by-side player comparison tool where you can pick two players from different teams and see their percentile stats, heatmaps, and xG shot maps overlaid on the same screen. Would make settling debates with friends way easier.

@bedirhanoz99730 Yeah you total right, I think that would be cool, lemme add this
Spent a few minutes poking around and the tournament percentile player cards are genuinely cool, way more useful than the usual stat dumps. Formation view on the pitch is the standout though, really makes the tactical side click.

the shot maps with the goal-mouth placement are wild, finally a way to see if that wonder goal was actually well placed or just lucky

the formation view is genuinely cool, like actually being able to drag and see players positioned on the pitch. xG maps with goal-mouth placement is a nice touch too
