Hey Product Hunt 👋
If you run a multi-site maintenance company, your office probably works in several client systems: ServiceChannel for one client, Corrigo for another, a spreadsheet and an inbox for the rest. Every work order gets typed in more than once. Each client wants its photos, check-ins, reports and invoices done its own way, and subcontractor paperwork gets chased on top of that.
That time is real money, but it's spread across so many small steps that almost nobody knows the total. When I went looking for a calculator to measure it, I couldn't find one built for multi-site contractors. The ROI calculators out there are mostly for companies buying maintenance software (CMMS) for their own buildings. None of them handle the problem of working in many client portals at once. So we built one.
What it does
- Turns your work order volume and minutes per task into admin hours and dollars a year. Tasks include intake and re-keying, status updates, photos, client reporting, invoicing, subcontractors, rework, and watching portals.
- Shows the break-even: how much admin time a change has to remove just to cover its costs. It's the headline number because it doesn't depend on guessing the savings.
- Shows the payback month and net result over 1–5 years, with a chart that updates as you adjust the plan.
- Keep it, buy it, or build it? Compares today's process, an off-the-shelf integration, and a custom build side by side, with a running total of each over time.
- Lets you compare two plans side by side, see which assumptions move the result most, and export a PDF, CSV, or shareable link.
What it won't do
- Make up benchmarks. We looked for independent studies on how long contractor of Labor Statistics data. Savings are what-ifs you choose, and the presets are labeled hypothetical.
- Hide a bad result. "No payback" is a real answer. Sometimes the better move is using your current tools more consistently.
- Count freed time as cash. It shows recovered hours as capacity unless you say how much becomes real savings, such as less overtime, fewer temps, or one less hire.
- Collect your data. Everything runs in your browser, and your numbers aren't sent anywhere.
Full disclosure: we build custom software and integrations for maintenance contractors. The custom build line uses our own pricing, and it's labeled that way. Every formula and source is public on the methodology page.
I'd love feedback from anyone running a multi-site operation. Did the numbers surprise you? What's missing? 🙏
