A compact multi-interface network platform combining 2.5G, 10G and SFP+ connectivity for edge computing, homelab and network segmentation. Designed to simplify deployment by integrating multiple network layers into one system.
Hi everyone 👋
We built this project after running into limitations with traditional network setups where routing, switching, and high-speed connectivity are split across multiple devices.
In many small deployments (homelabs, edge setups, small offices), this often leads to more complexity than expected — more hardware, more cables, and more configuration overhead.
So we explored a different approach: combining multiple interface types (2.5G, 10G RJ45, and SFP+) into a single compact system.
The goal wasn’t just performance, but flexibility:
- using 2.5G for access and segmentation
- 10G for high-throughput workloads
- SFP+ for fiber or uplinks
We’re curious how others approach mixed-speed networking — especially in compact or edge environments.
Would love to hear your thoughts, setups, or even challenges you’ve faced.
