Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Prabhudas, founder of MoveTara.
I lived in PGs (India's paying-guest hostels) for years. They have everything a hotel has: rooms, food, staff, regular guests. Yet they're run like a corner shop, with the rent book in a drawer and the owner phoning the warden ten times a day.
I tried a simple test with owners: "In 60 seconds, tell me last month's rent collected, what's pending today, how many residents you have, which beds are free and what you spent." Almost nobody could. MoveTara is built to answer that.
It isn't a register. It's the brain of the business. It knows the rent, the beds, the people and the money across all your properties, and it shows you what needs you today. Your warden or manager gets their own access, so the place keeps running when you're not there.
And when a bed is free, it shouldn't stay hidden. Every property gets its own public page with photos, per-bed pricing, the food menu and house rules, so guests can find it and send a booking request.
Our bigger goal is to bring PGs and hostels up to hotel level: a real public page, KYC-verified residents, and complaints that get fixed and tracked.
