I’m Cristian, the solo maker behind Movens.
I built this app because I was frustrated with the current state of travel tools. I hated standing at the gate frantically searching for a PDF ticket in my emails, or worrying about my data being sold by "free" itinerary apps.
I wanted something that felt like a native part of iOS, fast, private, and completely offline.
Movens turns your Lock Screen into a real travel dashboard. You can see your Airbnb codes, seat number, or distance to destination at a glance.
It’s also flexible enough for the little things, you can spin up a Live Activity just to keep a specific note visible, like the parking spot level you swear you’ll remember but definitely won’t, making sure it’s impossible to miss without even unlocking your phone.

I've been waiting for someone to come for Concur/Tripit. They stopped developing like 5+ years ago, and it seems like such low-hanging fruit. Unfortunately, I can't actually tell if this is a viable alternative because there is no mention of how it ingests and parses information, and there's no free trial to see for yourself.

Thank you for your comment, @paulgeller . As of right now, you have to add all of the information that you want to appear on the live activity. There is no parsing, give as much info as you want to see on the live activity. As for the free trial, I'm thinking that I will add one when I will add other features too, thanks for pointing that out!

@cristianton Thanks for replying! Any plans for an ingestion engine? I imagine with the state of LLMs it's easier than ever and Concur/Tripit is really a sitting duck. Literally no innovation i a decade and yet I still pay $50/year

So if I understand correctly and it doesn't sync with the wallet app or the calendar, the app needs access to every other app from where the info should be available, right? For example, it connects with airline apps, Airbnb/booking.com, email ?

The app doesn't connect to any kind of other applications. The app lets you insert exactly what info you want to display on your live activities. You have to add your flight details, seats, airbnb door codes, or really anything that you want to be displayed on your Lock Screen, any info that you think it's handy for you. And for that live activity that you display on the Lock Screen, you can add different files, so that you have easy access to them in an instant, just click the Live Activity and you have them, this is great especially for tickets that have a QR code, you just add them to your Live Activity and have them ready whenever you want to! Also, you can add a location for a specific live activity, so that it is much easier to always go to that location when you need to, just click the activity and then choose how you want to get to that location.
