Movcut.ai is an AI video production tool which is 100% browser based. You just have to type your idea or paste a url to extract information and Movcut will create a complete script and cut it into scene to scene, automatically assigns the media to each scene, and creates a voiceover for each one. The result, a complete video is displayed in full timeline editor - so you could refine it as per your choice and get a professionally created video without switching tools or hiring a production team
Paste a blog post and watched it turn into a full timeline video in under two minutes, that part genuinely caught me off guard. The voiceover feels a touch flat on longer scenes though.
One thing I'd love to see is a way to lock in a specific voice profile for the voiceover so every video I make sounds consistent, rather than having to re-pick or fine tune the voice each time.
honestly the url to script pipeline is genuinely impressive, basically pasted a blog post and it pulled out usable scenes without me tweaking much. kinda nice having the full timeline right there too.
It would be great if you could add an option to upload a custom voiceover or clone your own voice for the narration, since AI voices still feel a bit robotic for some topics.
the in-browser timeline editor is a really smart call, most ai video tools hand you a finished file and leave you stranded when something needs tweaking. being able to refine cuts right where the video was generated saves so much friction.
Love that the full timeline editor stays right in the browser after the AI does its thing, so you can actually finesse the cuts instead of being locked into whatever the script generates. That handoff between automation and manual control feels really thoughtful.
