What's great

I originally thought about splitting my capital: opening a separate account on a dedicated crypto exchange and another with a traditional commodity broker. But that means paying double commissions, constantly shifting funds between platforms, and taking on extra security counterparty risks. What needs improvement

I really appreciate that this broker doesn't operate like an aggressive "market-maker kitchen" and instead structures its account conditions fairly. I chose the Gold account tier, which is the perfect sweet spot for me. The leverage starting from 1:5 acts as a built-in guardrail against over-leveraging my account, while the spreads from 2.5 pips are perfectly reasonable for mid-term swing trading. Security is top-tier: client capital is kept separate via segregated banking models, and the encrypted portal access gives me total peace of mind that my data is safe.

vs Alternatives

Since the crypto market operates 24/7 over the weekend, but customer support here operates on a standard 24/5 schedule, you are essentially on your own on Saturdays and Sundays. I would like to see them launch at least an AI assistant bot or a skeleton standby line to handle urgent technical or funding inquiries during the weekend.

The execution speed here is on a different level. Mountainfinco uses a pure No Dealing Desk (NDD) model, which means my orders hit the market instantly without any broker intervention. For someone trading fast-moving indices and energy contracts, this lack of latency is crucial. I also love the 10% stop-out level it is an incredible risk management feature that prevents my positions from being forcefully liquidated during brief, aggressive market spikes.

What needs improvement

The WebTrader interface is clean, but it lacks the ability to create highly customized, automated trading scripts. Adding a built-in algorithmic editor or a marketplace for custom automated indicators would make the platform perfect for advanced technical strategies.

The client portal and funding setup are incredibly secure, but the fraud-prevention checks on large withdrawals can be very strict, sometimes triggering a manual review.
