I'm Claudiu, a software engineer. For 15+ years I've shipped design systems, e-commerce platforms and marketing sites, and in every single one the same tiny task kept breaking my focus: finding one icon.
You know the loop. You're deep in Figma or your editor, you need an arrow, so you leave. Google "arrow icon svg", open five tabs, compare sets that don't match, download a file, clean up the markup - and twenty minutes later your flow is gone. Not hard. Just constant.
So I built Motificons. It's Spotlight, but for icons.
Press one shortcut on top of any app - Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, VS Code, your browser - type what you need, hit Enter, and the icon is on your clipboard. Paste it. That's the whole thing.
The app is the fastest way in, but it sits on a full web workspace. On motificons.app you browse all 300,000+ icons, restyle any of them to match your system - stroke, size, color - and export in every format you actually use (SVG, PNG, React, Vue, Svelte, SwiftUI, asset catalogs). You curate collections of the icons your product uses, and those same collections are what the app grabs from.
And if you build with coding agents, Motificons has an MCP server. Claude Code, Cursor or Codex connect to it and search by intent, then pick from the collections you curated - so they use icons that already fit your project instead of guessing filenames. You curate visually; your agent consumes exactly that.
