MortMetrix is a free mortgage payoff tracker for homeowners who want to know what's actually happening with their loan. Most lender portals show you a balance and a due date. They don't tell you when you'll really be mortgage-free, how much of your home you own, or what an extra $100 a month would change.
That gap is why MortMetrix exists. Only about 1 in 4 homeowners ever pay extra toward principal, and most never run the numbers to see what it could save them. Years of extra interest end up being paid simply because the math was never visible.
To get started, you enter your balance, rate, and term once. You can begin from where you are today, even years into the loan, without digging up old payment history. From there you can see your payoff date, equity, and interest saved in one dashboard. You can test extra or lump-sum payments before committing a dollar.
